3-Day Masai Mara Private Safari
Three days is the length most travellers choose for the Masai Mara, and for good reason: it gives you a full day deep in the reserve instead of rushing in and out. This private safari from Nairobi includes two nights at a comfortable tented camp, three days of game drives with your own driver-guide, and a full day with a picnic lunch to reach the Mara River and the quieter plains. The reserve is home to the Big Five and one of Africa’s highest concentrations of predators, and from roughly July to October it hosts the Great Migration.
Price: from US$1,050 per person (2 people sharing, January–June). July–December rates are higher because the reserve’s entry fee doubles; contact us for a quote for your dates.

In the afternoon you head out on your first game drive across the open plains, looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and the many antelope species of the Mara.
Accommodation: Mid-range tented camp near the reserve (named on your quote; luxury upgrades available)
Meals: Lunch and dinner
A full day exploring the reserve with a picnic lunch, which gives you time to reach the Mara River and the more remote plains. From roughly July to October this is where the Great Migration herds gather and attempt the famous river crossings; outside those months the Mara still offers excellent year-round predator sightings.
Optional extras (paid locally): an early-morning hot-air balloon flight or a visit to a Maasai village.
