Itinerary
Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. You’ll journey by road towards the legendary Amboseli National Park, with a short stopover at Emali for a refreshment and bathroom break. After a scenic 4–5 hour drive, you’ll arrive at Oltukai Lodge just in time for a warm welcome and a delicious lunch.
The afternoon is yours to unwind and soak in the breathtaking surroundings before heading out on an exciting game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains. As the golden sun dips behind Mount Kilimanjaro, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner, stories around the bonfire, and a peaceful overnight stay in the heart of the wilderness.
Wake up to the magic of the African wilderness with a pre-breakfast game drive at 6:00 AM. This is one of the best times to spot wildlife, as predators and grazers alike are most active in the cool morning hours. With a cup of coffee in hand and your expert guide leading the way, you’ll witness nature at its purest.
By 9:00 AM, you’ll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out. From there, you’ll journey back to Nairobi, taking with you beautiful safari memories. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a delicious farewell lunch at the Famous Carnivore Restaurant, a steakhouse renowned for its endless cuts of grilled meats. Afterward, your driver will drop you at your hotel or the airport, perfectly timed for your onward journey home.
